Karen Karnes (American, 1925-2016) Stoneware ceramic lidded vessel. Marked with artist's stamp on side of piece. This round vessel has a lightly ribbed texture and a slightly convex, removable, fitted lid. The colors of the smooth glaze include dark gray occupying the upper two-thirds of the vessel and a brown in the bottom third of the vessel. The overall shape of the vessel tapers slightly upward. The base is marked with Karnes’ monogram, “KK.”

Condition: Small chip along inside edge of lid otherwise very good.
