The chair's light, elegant appearance is created by the vertical round legs and a backrest which arches backwards - slightly more in the top than in the bottom - in order to achieve the best possible back support. The hand-woven paper cord seat and the gently rounded and flat armrests - fixed to the front legs with a distinctive cap - provide both comfort and sturdiness.
