Marco Zanuso 'Sleep-O-Matic' Sofa for Arflex. Original 1950s ‘Sleep-O-Matic’ three-Legged Sofa by Marco Zanuso for Arflex which converts into a day bed. (The seat is mounted on a track which separates from the backrest by sliding forward) Very comfortable classic design. There are three splayed brass feet in the front and three vertical supports in the back, and the sofa has been newly reupholstered in black fabric. This design was awarded a gold medal at the 1951 IX Triennale di Milan.
